QuickE

Shopify integration

Shopify takes the order, QuickE delivers it

Shopify handles the storefront and the checkout well. What it does not do is tell you which driver is holding your cash, or match a delivery in Sharjah against the order that paid for it. This connection is being built to close that gap for a Gulf store, where cash at the door is still a normal way to pay.

Connection status

On the roadmap

This connection is planned and not available yet. Nothing described below works today. Every line of it is how the connection will behave once we switch it on.

What it will do once it is live

Orders into dispatch as they come in

A paid or cash on delivery order in Shopify becomes a shipment with the shipping address, the contact number, the payment type and the amount to collect. Orders keep flowing in through a sale or a launch without anyone exporting a file at midnight.

Fulfilment and tracking written back

When the shipment is dispatched, the Shopify order is marked fulfilled with its tracking reference, and the later states of delivered, refused or returned follow it. The order history in Shopify stays the record you can hand to anyone who asks what happened.

Updates that look like your brand

The customer gets WhatsApp updates in Arabic or English and a tracking page on your own domain, with your logo and your colours. Nothing in the delivery experience introduces a logistics company your customer has never heard of.

COD reconciled against Shopify orders

Cash collected at the door is posted against the Shopify order number, held against a named driver until it is counted in, and cleared against what a carrier remits. What you are owed and what has actually landed are two figures you can see side by side.

Questions operators ask

Can I install it on my store today?
No. The Shopify connection is on the roadmap and not available yet. Book a demo and we will tell you the day it goes live.
How do orders reach QuickE meanwhile?
By exporting orders from Shopify and uploading the file. The column mapping is saved the first time, so the next upload needs no setup.
Can I connect more than one store?
That is how it is being designed. Several stores feed one dispatch queue, and each order keeps the store it came from so reporting and cash stay separated by store.
Does it handle cash on delivery orders?
Yes, that is the point of it here. The amount to collect travels with the order, the driver records what was collected, and the total is reconciled against the store rather than treated as an afterthought.
What happens to a returned order?
The return is tracked back to your address as its own movement, the order shows the reason it came back, and any cash recorded against it is reversed so your account never shows money that did not arrive.
