Terms of service
The agreement between QuickE and the businesses that use the platform, in plain language.
This page is a general template and is awaiting legal review. It is not the final version of these terms.
The service
QuickE is a delivery management system for delivery operators, run by QuickE in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Operators use it to manage orders, dispatch, drivers, proof of delivery, cash on delivery and customer notifications.
These terms are an agreement between QuickE and the business that opens an account. They cover the platform and this website. By opening an account or using the platform you accept them.
Accounts
You need an account to use the platform, and the person who opens it must be allowed to act for the business it belongs to. Keep the information on the account accurate and keep your sign in details to yourself.
You are responsible for what is done under your account. If you believe someone has used it without permission, tell us at hello@quicke.ae and we will help you secure it.
Acceptable use
Use the platform to run your own delivery operation. Do not use it to break the law, to send messages people have not agreed to receive, or to store data you have no right to hold.
Do not probe, overload or disrupt the service, do not try to reach another operator’s data, and do not resell access to the platform unless a written agreement with us allows it. We can suspend an account that does any of these while we look into what happened.
Fees
What the platform costs is published on the pricing page, and that page is the current version of our plans and prices. Where a signed agreement between us says something different, the agreement applies.
Fees are payable as stated on the plan you choose. If prices change, the change applies from your next billing period and we will tell you before it does.
Your data in the platform
Operators enter shipment, merchant and delivery data into the platform, including names, addresses and phone numbers of the people they deliver to. That data belongs to the operator. We store and process it only to run the service and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for having the right to enter the data you enter and for using it lawfully. How the platform handles data is described in more detail in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The platform is provided as it is. We work to keep it available, fast and correct, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted or that it will be free of errors, and we do not promise any particular business result.
You remain responsible for your operation. Check figures that matter, such as cash reconciliation totals, before you act on them.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data.
Our total liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that caused the claim. Nothing in these terms removes a liability that the law does not allow to be removed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. A dispute we cannot settle between us goes to the courts of Dubai.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. When a change is material we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Using the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
